A good picture is worth a thousand words, goes the cliché. The problem with clichés is that they are so often true. That’s how they become famous in the first place! (Second cliché, sorry.)
And that’s true today too, even here at Wondering Fair where we value good prose (but don’t disdain a nice pic along the way). Today, instead of an article, I’d like to leave you with some pictures. Pictures of baptisms the church I’ve founded in Rome celebrated last week. It was a beautiful, moving day. For those exploring the meaning of the Christian faith, reasoned argument is often helpful. But so are images. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, after all.
