The unveiling this week of Apple’s smart watch has ignited a huge debate at the tech-world and the internet in general. Many excelent pieces analysing this new technological leap and how it will affect our interaction with our bodies and ourselves have been published.

One of those articles, however, has caught my eye. Not just because of its assessment of our cultural moment, but also because it models the kind of thoughtful cultural engagement from a Christian perspective aimed at a secular audience that we strive after here at Wondering Fair. It is written by Andy Crouch and was published at TIME magazine.
